Tour Plan

Day 1 Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Depart from Nairobi and journey south to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for your first exciting game drive. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. Spend the afternoon exploring the park’s open plains, swamps, and acacia woodlands while spotting elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and abundant birdlife.

Day 2 Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park

After an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, continue your safari to Tsavo West National Park. Enjoy scenic landscapes ranging from volcanic hills to natural springs. Visit the famous Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters attract hippos and crocodiles. An afternoon game drive offers chances to see elephants, leopards, buffalo, and other wildlife roaming this rugged wilderness.

Day 3 Tsavo West National Park – Tsavo East National Park

Travel from Tsavo West National Park to neighboring Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and oldest parks. The park’s red soil landscapes are home to the famous red-dusted elephants. Enjoy a game drive through vast savannahs and along the Galana River, where wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes frequently gather.

Day 4 Tsavo East – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast, depart Tsavo East National Park and proceed to the scenic Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary offers spectacular landscapes and abundant wildlife including elephants, buffalo, and various antelope species. Enjoy afternoon game viewing and the unique experience of watching animals from a lodge overlooking a waterhole.

Day 5 Taita Hills – Lake Naivasha – Hell’s Gate National Park

Journey north through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha. Visit Hell's Gate National Park, known for its dramatic cliffs, gorges, and geothermal features. Enjoy activities such as cycling or walking safaris while observing zebras, giraffes, and antelopes roaming freely across the park’s striking landscapes.

Day 6 Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park

Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a sanctuary for endangered rhinos and one of Kenya’s best birdwatching locations. The alkaline lake attracts flamingos and pelicans, while the surrounding parkland is home to lions, leopards, buffalo, and Rothschild’s giraffes. Enjoy a rewarding afternoon game drive in this scenic park.

Day 7 Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve

Continue to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, part of the greater Serengeti Ecosystem. After arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive across rolling savannahs rich with wildlife including lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras.

Day 8 Maasai Mara National Reserve – Full Day Safari

Spend a full day exploring Maasai Mara National Reserve with extensive game drives. The reserve offers exceptional wildlife viewing and, during migration season, spectacular crossings of the Mara River. Enjoy opportunities to see the Big Five and experience the vast beauty of the Mara plains.

Day 9 Maasai Mara – Serengeti National Park

Travel south across the border toward Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. The Serengeti’s endless plains host extraordinary concentrations of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, elephants, and massive herds of wildebeest and zebras.

Day 10 Serengeti National Park – Arusha

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti National Park before traveling to Arusha, where your unforgettable East African safari concludes. Reflect on the incredible wildlife encounters and landscapes experienced throughout this remarkable journey.
