Horseback Safari Adventure in Africa

This is especially true in vast areas of national parks and reserves, where the proximity to magnificent wildlife adds a unique excitement. As you ride, you’ll hear the calming rhythm of the bush’s natural sounds, where the earth beneath your horse’s hooves seems to breathe along with you. Horseback safaris are not permitted within the main parks and reserves but are offered in the surrounding areas, including private conservancies and game ranches, which provide an intimate and exciting experience.

There are two riding sessions available, each lasting 2 hours. The morning ride culminates in a delicious bush breakfast in the plains, often with wildlife in the vicinity. The afternoon ride concludes with a refreshing sundowner, ideally accompanied by wildlife sightings.

To fully enjoy a horseback safari in Kenya, basic riding skills are required. These safaris are offered in various regions, including the Maasai Mara, Laikipia, Amboseli, Mount Kenya, and the Lake Naivasha area.
