Tour Plan
Depart from Nairobi in the morning, either by road (approximately 5 hours) or by a short domestic flight (approximately 1 hour) to Masai Mara. Arrive at your chosen lodge or camp in Masai Mara for check-in and lunch.
Afternoon game drive in Masai Mara, known for its diverse wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros). Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

On this day you will have an early breakfast and embark on a full-day game drive in Masai Mara, exploring different parts of the reserve. Visit the Mara River to witness potential river crossings during the Great Migration season (seasonal). Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the reserve to maximize your wildlife viewing opportunities.
Continue with game drives in the afternoon, seeking out the remarkable wildlife that calls this park home. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

On this last day you will start your day with a sunrise game drive, when wildlife is most active. Return to your lodge or camp for a late breakfast.
In the afternoon, have a cultural encounter with the Maasai people, learning about their traditions and way of life. If time allows, you can visit a local Maasai village and interact with the community at an extra cost and you can as well opt for a hot air balloon ride safari, you will enjoy the aerial viewing of wildlife into their interior territory where you might not have accessed during your previous safari at an extra cost. Enjoy another game drive before returning to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in Masai Mara if time permits.
Check out from your lodge or camp and transfer to the nearest airstrip for your domestic flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. Arrive at Nairobi Wilson Airport mid-morning and take a short domestic flight to Nairobi JKIA. Ensure you have sufficient time between flights to go through security and immigration checks. Nairobi JKIA to Zanzibar. Arrive at Nairobi JKIA and go through international departure procedures. Board your international flight from Nairobi to Zanzibar. This flight may have a layover, typically in Arusha. Arrive at Zanzibar's Abeid Amani Karume International Airport in the evening. Clear immigration and customs in Zanzibar. Transfer to your chosen accommodation on the island, which may take an additional 30 minutes to an hour.

After a delicious breakfast at your resort, you'll embark on a guided tour of Stone Town, a historic and culturally rich UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll wander through its narrow streets, exploring the bustling markets, visiting landmarks like the Sultan's Palace, the House of Wonders, and the Old Fort. The day ends with a scrumptious seafood dinner at a local restaurant

Today's adventure takes you on a captivating spice tour. Zanzibar is known as the "Spice Island," and you'll have the opportunity to visit local spice farms, discover the origins of various spices, and learn about their traditional uses in both culinary and medicinal contexts. A traditional Swahili lunch will be served during the tour, giving you a taste of the local flavors.

Your morning will be spent on a boat trip to Prison Island (Changuu Island), where you'll encounter fascinating giant tortoises and explore the remnants of a historic prison. Return to your resort for a final night of relaxation and enjoyment.

On your last day in Zanzibar, check out of your resort and head to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) for your return flight to Nairobi. Depending on your flight schedule, you might have some free time for last-minute shopping or further exploration in Stone Town. Upon your arrival in Nairobi, you can either spend the night or catch your connecting flight back home, concluding your unforgettable journey from Nairobi to the stunning beaches of Zanzibar.
