This will be 2 days of unlimited game drives for you. One in the morning before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals as they are most active. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography, thanks to the beautiful lighting. Reliable rains and plentiful vegetation underpin this extraordinary ecosystem and the millions of herbivores it supports. Wildebeest, zebras, impalas, elephants, Masai giraffes and several species of gazelle all call the Mara home. This vast concentration of game accounts for high predator numbers, including cheetahs, leopards and a higher lion density. You will go in search of the Big Five with game drives across the grassy plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve. The immense herds of wildebeest and zebra are a magnificent sight, matched only by the drama of the predators who lie in wait for them. At the river, we’ll see hippos but also camouflaged in their natural habitat we’ll spot the many crocodiles awaiting the wildlife traversing the river. This is a spectacle that has played out for millennia. To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Meet these indigenous people and see up close their ancient lifestyle and culture. Want an unforgettable sight. Take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah and witness the herds of wildlife emerging into the day. After breakfast depart from the Mara through the Maasai plains and the Mau escarpments into the floor of the Rift valley. Arrive in the flamingo fringed Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch and afternoon game drive. We will embark on a comprehensive game drive of this scenic park including visits to viewpoints which offer superb photo opportunities. Lake Nakuru is one of several Rift Valley lakes and its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.

Conclude your stay in Nakuru with a shorter early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Your Safari now takes you to Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake which is a popular tourist spot in Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may also choose to book a one hour Lake Boat Safari at extra cost during which you get to see some of the lake's wildlife such as hippos as well as enjoy the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding highland landscapes. Later, we can visit Crescent Island. This is a private Island on Lake Naivasha that rose to fame after the 1985 movie “Out of Africa” that showcased the beautiful nature of Lake Naivasha and its surrounding. The Island is found within the Great Rift Valley on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha. It is home to a number of bird species that roam around between the lake and the Island. The Island is also home to a number of wildlife that includes zebras, giraffes, and waterbucks.

We will depart early in the morning after breakfast towards Amboseli National Park with lunch en route. Your guide will take you for a game drive if time allows. Amboseli is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up-close. On a clear evening you can catch a view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

We will have full days to explore this beautiful park. Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things –majestic herds of elephants and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, Amboseli National Park is one of the best places in Africa for getting up close to free-ranging elephants. The population is so robust here that sightings are guaranteed! Amboseli is also a photographer’s paradise. Those wonderful photos you’ve seen of elephants seemingly posing in front of snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro were taken here. Kilimanjaro, the largest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world, towers over the park like a stately and photogenic sentinel. And when the clouds burn off at dusk or dawn, you’ll be treated to visions of its snowy peak. On your game drives on Amboseli’s great horizons you will also spot zebras, buffalos, gazelles and of course, cheetahs and lions. And not to be overlooked – smaller mammals like hyena, foxes, jackals, monkeys and the yellow baboons are all here. The bird life is equally rich especially in the park’s marshes and lakes. Be ready for sightings of pelicans, kingfishers, crakes, egrets and the Madagascar heron. And raptors – 47 types have been spotted including falcon and the harrier eagle.

After breakfast, check out from your lodge or camp in Amboseli. Begin your journey from Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park. The drive typically takes around 3 to 4 hours, so depart early to maximize your time in Tsavo West. Arrive at Tsavo West National Park and check in to your chosen accommodation, whether it's a lodge or a tented camp. Enjoy a delicious lunch at your accommodation or a nearby restaurant.

Game Drive in Tsavo West: After lunch, head out on an afternoon game drive in Tsavo West. The park is known for its diverse landscapes, including volcanic craters, lush oases, and the scenic Mzima Springs. Keep an eye out for wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and various bird species. Return to your accommodation for dinner. Some lodges offer cultural performances or wildlife talks in the evening, providing additional entertainment and insights into the local flora and fauna. Stay at Tsavo West: Spend the night at your chosen accommodation within Tsavo West National Park.

After breakfast, check out from your accommodation in Tsavo West National Park. Embark on a scenic drive from Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park, which typically takes around 2 hours depending on your starting point within Tsavo West. Arrive at Tsavo East National Park and check in to your chosen accommodation. Tsavo East is known for its vast landscapes and the Galana River, which attracts a wide range of wildlife. Enjoy lunch at your accommodation. In the afternoon, head out on a game drive in Tsavo East to explore the park's unique terrain, which includes open savannah, volcanic hills, and the iconic red elephants. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and other wildlife. Return to your accommodation in Tsavo East for dinner and relaxation. Lodges offer evening activities such as stargazing or cultural performances. Spend the night at your chosen accommodation within Tsavo East National Park.

Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation in Tsavo East. If time allows, you can opt for an early morning game drive in Tsavo East to catch wildlife during their most active hours. Check out from your accommodation and prepare for your journey back to Nairobi. Depart from Tsavo East and drive back to Nairobi. The journey typically takes around 4 hours, so plan accordingly. Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of your Tsavo adventure.
